Fr. Guy 's Devotions

Brothers and Sisters, we are reminded in the readings today that for the followers of Jesus, the ability to forgive is a sign of perfection, a sign which he sought but seldom found in his own day. In our present time, we too often find that men and women are often condemned than forgiven. Stones are cast every day in public and in private. Let us cry out to the Lord for strength to stop us from misunderstanding our brothers and sisters. Our prayers and relationship with our Redeemer will help us remember that experience, family tradition and worldly judgments do not replace the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Let us live in the light of God’s mercy, love and forgiveness.
