On this, the solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity we are given a chance to reflect on the way that God reveals Himself to us, as a relationship of love.  Our response to our Triune God is very important in relation to our faith and life of prayer.  We respond to God the Father as humble children of God, obeying His law and seeking comfort in his arms in times of testing, pain and need.  We respond to God our Savior, Jesus The Christ, as thankful brothers and sisters for the redemption given us by His suffering, death and resurrection, and we pray to become more Christ like in our lives.  We respond to God the Holy Spirit with zeal in our hearts as He pours Himself upon us with the graces that we need to follow the will of God and share that love that originates from God alone.  Understanding these aspects of our God and the richness of our faith allows us to draw closer to our Creator, Redeemer and Sanctifier in a relationship of love and security.  This love brings life to our faith and moves us to share that faith with one another in charity and the outpouring of ourselves for one another.  Deacon Bill Watzek
