DEACON MIKE'S DEVOTION

     Martha, Martha, only one thing is necessary; listen to the Lord.  There are many things that grab our attention; world events, local troubles, job loss, children, etc.  We live in a tension-filled world and our daily frenzy can drive us to many distractions.  Even home is now only a stopping place to refuel and to crash.  Todays people define themselves by our accomplishments  and the number of “toys” we own.  
     But only one thing is necessary – LISTEN TO THE LORD.   With him all things will turn to good.  Listen and serve him  with all your heart.   P.S. – come to Church – JESUS is spoken here.
